We have been serving pizza to our guests in the UK since 1973, but Pizza Hut Restaurants is anything but a brand from the past. By the end of 2015, nearly half of our Pizza Hut Restaurants' estate will have had a vibrant, contemporary American-inspired re-image, an exciting new menu, with fries, ribs, onion rings, waffles and Hamilton Beach Milkshakes, market-leading cocktails, hard shake alcohol range at bars within our flagship Huts. As a Deputy Manager at Pizza Hut Restaurants, you’re in a great place to develop your hospitality career. Why? The Restaurant Deputy Manager Role
As Restaurant Deputy Manager you are vital to the success of the business alongside your Restaurant General Manager. You should demonstrate your flair for getting the best out of your people driving your team to achieve success, through your natural ability to lead, encourage and motivate your team all the way, and by using our valued recognition scheme
We’ll need evidence of your ability and experience in leading a team, within a fast paced restaurant/retail environment. Our restaurants have between 20-60 people - helping to train, motivate and develop each and every one of them, will be something you get a great buzz from.
Other areas of responsibility in assisting the Restaurant Manager will range from HR to Forecasting the right amount of people on shift (Peak times), controlling costs; Looking for ‘external’ opportunities alongside your manager to promote and engage the brand with local business’s wider community. But always maintaining quality of our brand standards! You will been used to working in an environment where you’re face to face with the customer - and have delivered great service at all times.
It’s a fast-paced environment, and we’re in the middle of the biggest period of change the brand has ever known, so anyone who joins us will be asked to hit the ground running. But if you do, how far and fast you move within the business is up to you. But one thing is for sure, in the fresh, new and revitalised Pizza Hut, active career development for our Restaurant Deputy Managers, is not just encouraged, it is expected.
