Our well-established client is looking to appoint a full-time Conveyancing Secretary to join their team in Warminster. Our client is one of the leading Law Firms and aims to deliver high and exacting standards to their clients. Started from Townbridge, later, they expanded their business in Malmesbury, Chippenham & Warminster.
The Role:
Our client has an immediate full-time vacancy for a Residential Property Solicitor to take conduct of primarily residential conveyancing and probate matters, and a limited but developing aspect of commercial conveyancing work. The idle incumbent is expected to have minimum 5 years PQE in similar role.
The Residential Property Solicitor will be involved in each successive stage of the conveyancing process which itself involves regular client contact. The idle candidate must be able to conduct searches competently, fully understand the fundamentals of mortgages, and manage allocated caseload of both freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
Role Responsibilities:
Advising on the complex area of residential property law, especially Residential Conveyancing
Knowledge of probate family or other areas
Title checking of freehold and leasehold properties, both registered and unregistered land
Lexel case management software capability is a plus
Essential Skills & Requirements:
Minimum 5 years PQE (Conveyancing & Probate)
Must be computer literate
Competent IT skills – Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and be able to 'hit the ground running' in a comfortable office
Applicant will have experience in all aspects of residential property, running your own caseload and be familiar with case management.
Experience in commercial would be an advantage.
