RMS is working in partnership with one of the largest sheet metal fabrication companies in Europe. Their engineering services supply metal products, components and precision sheet metal fabrications with engineering disciplines covering all aspects of CNC machining and fabrication.
Located on the outskirts of Newton Aycliffe, this is a company who is committed to providing outstanding manufacturing services. Currently, they have a number of vacancies available in the following roles:
Laser Machine Setter / Operator
CNC Press Break Setter / Operator
CNC Machinist (ideally Haas and Fanuc controls)
Tube Processing Machine Setter / Operator
Spot Weld Machine Operator
The vision is to provide long term opportunities within these roles, subject to operational demand and performance.
Experience:
Applicants must have experience and knowledge of working with CNC machining in a setting and operating capacity, training can be provided if applicants have operated similar machinery in previous employment.
Applicants must be able work independently which will include setting of tools, setting of machines and checking parts. Knowledge working to and understanding engineering drawings is essential in both first and third angle projection. Experience of editing programs is desirable.
Initially on day shift, these roles will quickly move onto a two-shift rotation:
Early shift- 6AM until 2.30PM Monday to Thursday with a 12.30 finish on a Friday
Late shift- 2.30PM until 11PM Monday to Thursday, Friday 12.30PM until 7PM
Rate of pay ranges between £13.04 and £13.20 per hour depending on position and experience. Holidays are accrued in addition and overtime is available.
