The Service Desk Analyst acts as a first point of contact for the Information Services team, and provides a professional and timely response to both customers and suppliers.
Derbyshire Constabulary are committed to reducing crime and promoting law and order across the county of Derbyshire. You will be based in a modern environment at the HQ building in Ripley, providing support to a range of internal customers for the Force.
You will be providing a high level of customer service across the Force, and will provide detailed advice and guidance on services and systems. You will be logging and prioritising incidents and will follow guidelines and processes to resolve or escalate issues as appropriate.
The Service Desk Analyst will also provide first fix support with issues such as password resets, resolving user queries and diagnosing simple network and printer issues.
You will be a great team player with a flexible and willing attitude and will feel comfortable providing a high level of professional customer service to users. You will have a good working knowledge of supporting IT systems, and excellent problem solving skills. You will be capable of producing written reports and correspondence.
Candidates will be able to demonstrate the following experience and skills:
- Experience of using Service Desk software, eg BMC Remedy, LANdesk
- Ability to use and troubleshoot Microsoft products
- The ability to follow processes and guidelines
- Ability to learn new systems and processes
£9.91 per hour - 37 hours per week
Candidates will be required to undergo a Police Security check, therefore candidates must be resident in the UK for three continuous years.
