Are you looking for a North London teaching assistant position that will help you further your secondary teaching career? Do you want a role where you’re nurtured, developed and moulded into an excellent educator?
If you are a recent graduate with experience of working with/supporting young people with special educational needs, you could well be suitable to the following teaching assistant position...
I am recruiting on behalf of an excellent North London (Borough of Haringey) secondary school that is looking for superb graduates who have experience of supporting young people with special educational needs. Boasting a sterling reputation within the local community, and way above national average 5 A*-C GCSE results, you will be joining a school with strong leadership and excellent opportunities to develop your teaching credentials.
In your new position, you will be required to work with students who require additional support in the classroom. Additional learning needs that you may encounter may include dyslexia, ADD (attention deficit disorder) and MLD (mild learning difficulties). Previous experience, or an interest in, working with pupils with such additional needs will be beneficial to your application.
The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with a good degree, have experience of working with secondary aged pupils, and they will be strongly considering a career in education. Furthermore, you should be personable, confident and adept at forming good working relationships with staff and pupils.
