Badenoch + Clark are looking to recruit a Fully Qualified Tax Accountant, to take the lead on all Tax Accounting for one of our key clients in the Greater Manchester Area.
The role: To ensure tax compliance through the delivery of a high quality tax accounting service
Undertake taxation work including VAT, Corporation tax, Employment tax and Construction Industry Tax for Group entities including tax planning, compliance and reporting.
Advise the Finance Directorate Leadership Team on day to day taxation queries and emerging taxation issues;
Lead the quarterly tax update meetings with external advisors.
Ensure compliance through the completion and submission of tax and regulatory returns in accordance with required timescales.
Maintain an up to date knowledge of current and emerging tax regulations and accounting standards, ensuring that compliance risks are understood, managed and mitigated.
Support the production of the Annual Financial Statements, ensuring they are prepared correctly and to a high standard within agreed timescales;
Support preparation of year-end audit files for Group entities and support the Financial Accounting team with delivery of the year-end accounts to agreed timescales.
Must be fully qualified with a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/Equivalent)
Must be ATT or CTA qualified, or willing to take on study.
Recent experience of taxation compliance either in a practice or industry role.
Proven experience of leading on the delivery of taxation compliance activities and the application of relevant regulations.
