As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance activities on fire systems throughout the West Midlands & East Anglia.
Working on commercial and security systems as well as residential fire systems, your role will also involve:
- Checking and repairing all faults
- Completing remedial work
- Processing jobs via a tablet or PDA
- Keeping accurate records of completed work
- Working on all systems in-line with British Standards, industry accreditations and SLAs
To be considered for the role of Field Service Engineer, you will need:
- Experience of working as a fire engineer
- A full, valid driving licence
- Excellent planning, prioritisation and problem-solving skills
Ideally, you’ll possess FIA 1 and 5 qualifications, but this is by no means essential.
You may have previously held the position of Reactive Engineer, Planned Maintenance Engineer, Reactive Service Engineer, Reactive Maintenance Engineer, Fire Engineer, Repair & Maintenance Engineer, or Senior Repair & Maintenance Technician.
Equally, we would be keen to hear from candidates who have held the title of Fire Alarm Engineer, Fire Systems Engineer, Access Control Engineer, Intruder Alarm Engineer, or CCTV Technician.
