Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Ellesmere Port
Hours: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am weekends as and when required
Salary: Highly Competitive Hourly Rate + Bonuses
Due to growth and investment our client is looking for several Multi Skilled Engineers who are Electrically biased to join the team working within a leading FMCG company, the company offer ongoing training and development with the opportunity to progress with the growth of the business.
Working on a rotating shift pattern, the successful candidate will report into the Engineering Manager and be accountable for all reactive and proactive maintenance work across the site, ensuring you deliver it in a timely fashion and to the highest possible standards.
Key experience to include fault-finding both electrically and mechanically on all plant machinery, conveyors, palletisers etc.
Ideally you will be apprentice trained or NVQ Level 2 in Engineering
Main Duties include:
To ensure that all maintenance work is carried out with due regard to the safety of employees adhering to relevant regulations
Provide reactive and planned maintenance
To assist efficiency improvements by reducing downtime
To help maintain all maintenance records, ensuring all documentation is in place and up to date
To help build and maintain a cost-effective spare parts store
To work with operations manager to reduce machine and processing problems in order to improve output efficiency
Fault-finding diagnostics, electrical, mechanical on high-speed process-lines
Essential Criteria
Must be a qualified, multi-skilled engineer, with previous working experience gained in a Production environment.
Must have the ability to work on their own initiative and be a confident decision maker.
Must be a flexible individual as some overtime working will be required.
18th Edition or equivalent Electrical qualification
