This role willjoin the SPO team focusing on supporting a range of strategic projects acrossAbcam. It is a fantastic chance for someone to specialise in the people side ofchange, including changes to business processes, systems, ways of working. Asprojects transition from solution readiness to operational readiness, you willplay a key role in ensuring the successful transition and adoption, andminimising resistance.

About the Strategic Programme Office team
Abcam has an ambitious strategy and anaggressive transformation agenda. To drive this agenda, Abcam is activelybuilding a Strategic Programme Office. This office is focused on helping toensure we deliver maximum value from our strategy.
You will be part of the SPO support team that ismade up of a talented group of Change and Project Managers and plays a criticalrole in helping Abcam deliver key strategic initiatives and applying projectand change management best practices to help individuals and teams succeedthrough change.
Roles & responsibilities:
Engaging with leadershipteams & SMEs to understand and mitigate the change impacts and developingchange plans
Help establish aglobal change network to strengthen engagement across Abcam businesses
Developing andcarrying out business readiness assessments with business teams to ensure theyunderstand and are prepared for the change
Working alongside theAbcam communications team to develop “know how” material to be cascaded withinthe business
Arranging andfacilitating workshops
Supportidentification of training approach and needs
Developing projectand change plans, managing scope, budget and deadlines
Communicating projectstatus, progress and escalating risk and impact to business stakeholders andinternal teams
The ideal candidate will have experience in working on transformationprojects from a change / project management point of view.
A change (Prosci or equivalent) or project management (PRINCE 2 orequivalent) accreditation is beneficial.
You should be a team player, able to take responsibility and managemultiple competing priorities with a high attention to detail. We require astrong communicator with a flexible, well organised and adaptable approach. You should be a problem solver and creativethinker.
