1. Information Collection
Cylex may collect personal information about the JoZoo users in the terms of contact details, Cvs, descriptions, as well as data about their location, browsers, devices or activity on the website.
When registering to JoZoo, either as a job seeker or as an employer, user have to fill in their email addresses and define their login credentials. Users also have the possibility to sign in with their Facebook or LinkedIn accounts.
Furthermore, people looking for a job (“job seekers”) may also provide personal information to JoZoo about themselves when uploading a resume. At the same time, persons/companies/organisations (“employers”), who are searching for new employees or job applicants, may submit information about their business in the form of job postings.
In addition, Cylex may also collect information from publicly accessible sources and third party websites (for instance: social media accounts).
JoZoo sometimes uses small data files, called cookies in order to save bits of information about the users (such as: what type of job are users looking for) and to enable web applications, as well as certain functions of the website. These cookies are placed and saved on the devices of users with the help of their browsers.
Cookies can provide an improved user experience. For example, with their help, JoZoo can give relevant recommendations to users.
By default, browsers accept cookies. However, users have the possibility to disable the cookies from the options/settings menu of their browser. The browser settings should also have an option of notifying the users prior to placing cookies on their devices.
Users should keep in mind, that disabling the cookies on JoZoo might have a negative impact on their use of the website.
3. Use of Data
Cylex may use the personal information that was collected (such as email addresses, CVs, job descriptions, contact details etc.) to offer a comprehensive range of services and products, to enhance your user experience or for promotional purposes.
For example, based on certain search criteria, Cylex may send out so called 'job alerts', emails containing job openings that the job seeker(s) might be interested in.
Personal data may also be used when a job seeker applies for a job position. In this case, the employer(s) are notified by email about the fact that someone applied for a job at their company. After that, if they log in to their JoZoo account, they will be able to see the details of the applicant/job seeker.
Thus, Cylex may disclose personal information to third parties (for e.g. prospective employers) in order to help the users in the recruitment process and in cases when this is required by law. Nonetheless, the shared information shall not be used for the marketing purposes of the third parties.
Moreover, Cylex may also send notifications with regards to news, services, updates, promotions etc. in the form of newsletters. Users will have the possibility to unsubscribe from such communications.
Cylex reserves the right to use sensitive personal data, in the above mentioned and similar cases, with the purpose of aiding the recruitment process.
