A Structural Engineer is required to work alongside an experienced team of engineers working on a number of varied and interesting projects. All within the retail, commercial and educational sectors. The successful Structural Engineer will be involved in both Civil and Structural projects and be able to use a range of technical and analysis software.
Structural Engineers who wish to apply should demonstrate excellent organisational skills, the ability to work to deadlines and good communicational skills both written and verbal.
Structural Engineer Role;-
Carry out structural analysis and prepare calculations for both Structural and Civil Engineering projects.
Manage projects from inception through to completion including liaising with clients, Architects and Contractors.
Design using relevant codes and standards.
Use of a range of technical and analysis software.
Role Requirements and Qualifications:-
Minimum of 5 years' experience working as an Engineer.
Hold a minimum QCF Level 6 Degree in Structural Engineering.
Knowledge and understanding in the design of steel, concrete, timber and masonry using Eurocodes.
Computer literate with skills in MS Office and ability to use structural analysis and design software.
An ability to communicate effectively and work within a team
An ability to deal with clients with minimal supervision
An ability to professionally represent the company
