An opportunity for 2 ICT System Technical Support Hardware Analyst working in Ripley.
This is an excellent opportunity has arisen for a ICT professional to work for the administration and support of computer systems and IT hardware. Resolving moderately complex issues regarding operations, including installations, set ups, error messages, system status and downtime procedures.
This is a role working for the public sector initially for a 6 month period.
The successful applicant must be competent in the following:-
Microsoft Windows & MS Office products.
Supporting and trouble shooting Microsoft Windows operating systems (v7,8,10)
Understanding of IOS/Android/Windows mobile operating systems and some experience supporting mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets.
Proven PC Hardware support knowledge
Flexible and able to work under pressure with attention to detail
You will be someone with recent experience (last 1-2 years) covering the following:
As the role will encompass H/W and S/W support based duties working within a Windows PC environment. You will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers both onsite and remotely.
Install/Refresh - Refresh as BAU based on a 4/5 year lifecycle. - Onsite installs using current deployment tools (SCCM).
IMAC - Relocation of user`s desktop hardware, updating the asset management system, Local software installation. LT/DT and desk phones. Engineer to update our Asset tracking system.
Desk Side Support - Onsite support and troubleshooting for COTS and non-core Software on laptops and desktops)
H/W Break Fix - Client to provide peripheral parts and spare units. Out of warranty devices to be replaced on failure.
As an additional any mobile device support - (MDM with Android phones would be useful)
BTEC (NVQ Level 2) or equivalent qualification
A+ PC Support qualification
Microsft Windows operating systemsand supporting technologies
Broad knowledge of public sector IT issues and requirements
Minimum working knowledge of 2 years experience
