We are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor to work for a Local Authority based in Sutton in their Learning and Development Department.
To provide a professional and comprehensive advisory and consultancy role and deliver wide ranging operational HR services to Departmental managers (including schools) in order to achieve the Department's business objectives through maximising the use of staffs skills and talents in line with Achieving Excellence Through People Strategy.
At all times operates with the degree of professional acumen and expertise required of Chartered Member of the CIPD.
The postholder may be called upon to provide support to other sections within HR. Movement between sections may take place at appropriate intervals in accordance with professional development and business needs.
Candidates must have Relevant and up-to-date working knowledge of employment legislation and best practice including a thorough understanding of current human resources issues at a local and national level.
This is on a temporary contract with the view to be extended based upon performance.
