Job Title: Deputy Manager ( RGN / RMN )

Salary: £40,000 per annum + excellent benefits
Hours: Full time- 37.5 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for a highly-skilled, passionate and experienced Registered Nurse ( RGN / RMN ) to work as a Deputy Manager within a lovely nursing home based in Woolwich, South East London. This care home provides a fantastic working environment for staff as well as ensuring the residents are given a warm, welcoming home in which to live. The home is easily accessible via car and public transport, just a short commute from central London.
The home provides high-quality nursing, palliative, residential and respite care for elderly residents as well as offering day care packages. Staff morale is very high and there is a very welcoming atmosphere to the home; they have achieved a very good, fully-compliant CQC report. As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for leading the clinical team and ensuring that patients are provided with high quality care. You will be responsible for the overall management of the home in the absence of the Home Manager and will need to take a proactive leadership approach to ensuring the home’s standards are upheld in line with CQC and NMC guidelines.

Person Specification: We are looking for a qualified Registered Nurse ( RGN or RMN ) with solid nursing experience and excellent clinical skills. We are looking for applicants with strong managerial experience in a similar setting; it is essential for candidate to have been a Deputy Manager / Clinical Lead / Senior Nurse / Unit Manager in a previous role. You must hold a valid Nursing Pin and have an active registration with the NMC and be eligible to work in the UK.
