Are you looking for a fulfilling role in care, working regularly with customers and helping them stay independent, in their own homes?
We are looking for care and support workers, with or without care experience, in Shanklin, on the Isle of Wight. We need two full time carers to work on a partnership of Monday/Tuesday split, Wednesday am and splits every other weekend and then the other carer Wednesday pm, Thursday/Friday split and every other weekend split.
We’ll train and support you, so you can confidently deliver a great service. You’ll develop a bond with your customers, which will help you to assist them with tasks and keep an eye on their health and well-being. You will need to be a driver with access to a car, to travel between customers. We welcome existing or friends double up teams, for our two-handed care worker customers.
You’ll be helping your customers with personal care, such as;
- Getting up and ready for the day
- Getting ready for bed
And practical tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, tidying, meal preparation and cooking, doctor’s appointments and shopping.

Every customer is different, so the support and help that you provide will depend on your customer’s needs, which will be assessed and regularly monitored by our quality officers.
You’ll be fully supported with practical and emotional help from our friendly office based teams and free training and supervision, to help you confidently deliver care. We have a career development plan and the opportunity to study NVQs in Care. This role is subject to a DBS check and you will need to provide proof of a full UK driving licence and your right to reside and work in the UK.
