Business Development Executive
Role Type: Contract
My client is looking for an Business Development Executive for a permanent position working in Sheffield. Working for an established and progressive engineering company with several offices across Yorkshire.
•Minimum of 3 years experience in either a sales or similar engineering environment or a post graduate with some sales experience looking for a strong challenge.
•Oil and Gas industry experience is NOT essential but would be useful.
•Good communication skills.
•GCSE (or equivalent) Math's and English A - C.
•Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel.
•Office experience essential.
•Some familiarity with the CNC and manual machining processes.
•Manage and develop a range of machined component customers.
•Develop existing customers with new product lines both for SBD and group machines shops/materials
•Develop a range of new customers from other industries to broaden the companies reliance on oil and gas.
•Map out a systematic approach to further industry development.
•Support our other facilities with machined components and even material sales development.
•Provide support for the production team and support the delivery of machined components in to customers in a timely manner.
•Entering sales orders and building routes when required.
•Responding to customer/supplier queries as the single point of contact.
•Quote complex machined items with assistance from the works foreman.
The successful candidate will be on a package of circa £30,000 per annum with free parking, pension contributions, on site physio and health benefits.
